As of today, I have research a number of articles, read on Elon Musk from multiple sources, and looked into his education before arriving to today. As you may have heard, Musk has acquired Twitter for $44 billion. This move has been coined as the liberation of free speech unlike any other time on Twitter.

Now, I think it is an exaggeration to say this is the moment we all have been waiting for. Twitter was founded in March 2006, which is exactly 16 years ago. It is true that Twitter was a bastion of free speech and quality journalism that led to many transformations within the United States and around the world. But let me remind you that TV stations, newspapers and radio stations have been around for more than 100 years.

Our ecosystem has undoubtedly changed with social media adding to the mix, but it has taken humanity in a different direction. For some it is consider the natural continuation, but it is in the era of hate and extreme speech that is not grounded in a civic debate. It is about roasting your opponent and unleashing all of the insults to supposedly cancel you completely.
