The Pew Research Center (PRC) included an important survey about teens and their digital habits. Specifically, when they are immersed on their smartphones and social media it leads to problems. A detailed survey published August 27th, 2024 of over 1,000 adults and teens revealed problematic findings about the impact of technology on their lives.

One of the alarming stats is parents find it difficult raising a teen nowadays. Exactly 69% of U.S. parents of teens ages 13 to 17 years old say being a teenage today is harder compared to 20 years ago.

Not only is harder being a teen today, yet parents the attribute the influence of technology in some way. An excerpt from the study illustrates that is not just the addiction part of it, but it has a negative effect on their behavior and perceptions.
