Industry Professionals Are Still Optimistic About the Future of Journalism
In spite of the many challenges facing the journalism sector, there is always hope for a better future. Even with the number of jobs lost in the industry and shrinking newsrooms with limited budgets journalists still see a light at the end of the tunnel.
As reported in a new survey, 72% of journalists have a positive outlook for the industry. In addition, technology has been a double edge sword for journalists since the start of 2000s. Naturally, the arrival of AI has split the camp into cohorts. Some are welcoming it while others see it as another threat to the journalism craft once gain.
