Is LinkedIn Turning Into A Dating Site?
The professional social networking site launched exactly 20 years ago. The site unlike Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and others was setup and tailored to industry professions from various industries. Nowadays, users have begun to use LinkedIn for nefarious purposes.
A survey conducted by Passport Photo Online of more than 1,000 LinkedIn users revealed that 91% of users on this platform have received romantic advances or inappropriate messages.
Additional findings include 3 out 4 respondents reducing their time spent on LinkedIn because of the nature of messages they have received. Those of you users who feel compelled to use the platforms for such purposes will get reported.
What sort of feelings is this creating for users on LinkedIn? Per the study, the feelings reported by female users were as follows:
- Annoyance (14.75%)
- Indifference (13.42%)
- Confusion (13.22%)
