Pew Research Study Findings: Americans Favor A TikTok Ban

A new survey conducted by the Pew Research Center (PRC) revealed some illuminating news. More than twice as many Americans are in favor of the U.S. government banning Tiktok. Only 22 percent are opposing it whereas 28 percent are still unsure about.

TikTok has done something real good that Facebook (META, ridiculous rebranding name) and Alphabet (Google) were not able to do. Grow more awareness and conversations with people on TikTok about data privacy and freedom of speech.

There are two possible outcomes for TikTok to resolve this matter:

• ByteDance sells TikTok to an American company
• Be completely ban from the U.S.

Either scenario will certainly intensify deteriorate diplomatic relations between China and U.S. However, the notion that TikTok is spying is not new, but existing American social media companies have been spying on its citizens since forever.
