Teachers Use A Very Unpopular Social Media App
Did you know TikTok is a platform for teachers? Did you know educators find communities and refuge on the app? Well, if you haven’t installed it I encourage you to do it.
According to an Ed Week report, teacher-generated content is trending on TikTok these days as you read this post. Within that report, a study by Registerednursing dot org, found evidence of topics for teacher-related videos. For example, you can find videos about teacher tips, tricks and hacks. In addition, teachers that have shared the current and ongoing crisis with the profession since the pandemic started in 2020.
Once upon a time, TikTok was tailored to a younger audience and demographic. The threats to ban in the United States (U.S) by former president Donald Trump attracted a lot of unnecessary attention to it.
