The Identity Of The Person Behind The Text-To-Speech Feature On TikTok Revealed
TikTok has redefined social media and reset the status quo in this arena. It was once dominated by Twitter, Facebook and Google. Not anymore! As it turns out the text-to-speech has been one of the hallmarks of the app, yet the person behind it has been unraveled.
According to The Verge, Kat Callaghan, is the host of 91.5 The Beat in Canada. In addition, within the new report it was confirmed listerners of the radio stations started speculating on whether Callaghan was the architect behind the voice feature. What do you know, it turns out they were right to suspect.
Callaghan’s voice, AKA the voice known as “Jessie” is a very popular feature to enable at the beginning, middle or end of your videos. Believe it or not, her voice just hooks TikTok audiences instantly versus a conventional voice. I have tried to do impressions or different voices, but it is a bust. Not surprising!
