Driving in Minnesota is an art form and not for the faint of heart. This is especially true in the winters because with inches or feet of snow on the road it can be a mesmerizing or an intimidating sight.
With so many migration patterns taking place since the pandemic, it has created a new wave of driving trends. As reported by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the deadliest time to drive is between 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
The data compiled and analyzed by attorney, Bader Scott, who took a look at fatal accidents reported by the NHTSA from the past five years. The way to narrow the most dangerous time was to look at which hour, day of the week and the month that was the worse.
Second most dangerous time hour to drive in Minnesota
This is bad news overall for Minnesota. The second most dangerous time to drive is between 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Moreover, the third most dangerous time to drive is between the hours of 6 to 7pm.
