The Media Attention On Titanic Submarine Was Too Much? Unequivocally Yes!
Rarely are articles offering a different perspective about the missing Titan submarine. I am here to tell you this post won’t go into details about the victims, but instead focus on the failure by media outlets to mistakenly cover it too much.
Did you stop to think that there were more important issues or news events to cover? The answer is yes. What determines what gets covered? Think about it for a second. Every news article written answers the following five Ws:
Who?
What?
When?
Where?
Why?
The other part of news reporting and writing process to consider is the immediate impact and local impact on audiences where they live. Naturally, the question to ask is how does all of this event about a deep-sea submersible make my life better? Well the answer is no to be honest. The loss of life cannot be ignored or downplayed. As I write this I am reminded life is fragile and we need to be grateful to have one more day to be alive.
