TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew: Something You Didn’t Know
As you may have heard or read in the new, the TikTok CEO Chew testified in front of congress for five hours. In that time frame it was clear both parties were united in grilling Chew with many questions, and to make the case that the app poses a national security threat.
As it turns out, the news did not go into doing the basics of explaining to you some interesting facts about Chew. He is a native of Singapore and graduated from the University College of London in 2006. Afterward, he worked for Goldman Sachs for two years and went on on to pursue a master’s degree at Harvard Business school.
So his track record includes studies in Europe and in the United States (U.S). However, did you know he worked for U.S-based social media company? It was facebook and completed a two-year internship at Facebook. What an interconnected world we live in right, wouldn’t you agree? Why was this not mentioned?
