TikTok Grows As A Source For Dating Advice
TikTok continues to be in the news because of the upcoming ban. Also, it remains as a source of news, but more specifically dating advise. Yes, you read that right.
According to the latest study by Flirtini, 1 out of 4 Gen Z Millenials singletons rely on TikTok for relationship tips. It comes as a no surprise since the Chinese-based app is very popular in the United States (U.S.).
Google is not as popular as a source for Gen Z. Just 25 percent of people turn to search engine for relationship insights. In addition, aside from the 25 percent relying on dating tips from the video sharing app, 46 percent of people now are taking advise from social media including TikTok.
Another illuminating statistic for you? Well, 28 always trust “TikTok dating” experts. The problem with this last part for users to do is to check their credentials and that will be discussed in the next section.
