TikTok Users Plan To Circumvent Laws If A Ban Passes In The U.S.
As you may know TikTok is facing an unknown future in the United States (U.S.). The possibilities of a complete ban seem increasingly likely. However, the 150 million daily active users on TikTok are preparing to bypass a possible ban and use available technologies to continue using the popular app.
The conversation about banning Bytedance’s popular app continues circulating online. On Wednesday the state of Montana approved and signed a new law banning the app from all devices. It is the first state to institute such extreme measures and other states will follow perhaps on using a similar measure to eliminate the app’s influence on U.S. soil.
TikTok has been banned on federal devices in the U.S. and other countries are following the same measure. The state of Florida has also banned the app for users in K-12 education that includes all school-related devices.
