U.S. Corporate Companies Amass Global Profits in 2023
Private sector performance from private companies in the United States (U.S) has been the model and example for the rest of the world. In addition, the technological advances and military industrial complex has allowed the U.S. to maintain significant influence.
The COVID-19 pandemic paralyzed the world economy, but not for very long. According to a comprehensive study conducted by Growandconvert dot com, the top 500 global companies amassed $2.9 trillion in profit. Out of this group, 136 companies based in the U.S. contributed 38 percent of the global profit pool.
If we think about the distribution of profits there is something even more astonishing. Exactly 10 of these U.S companies brought in almost half of these profits. Here is an infographic of profit margins by U.S. companies:
Apple’s dominance shows that is product line has a lot do with it. Thanks to the iPhone, iPad Macs and cloud-based services it is the clear frontrunner.
