Newest Survey Reveals Users of TikTok Support A Ban

Regardless of the efforts by TikTok to continually ease lawmakers, pressure is mounting against the popular app. In detailed survey conducted by Surfshark showed 1 in 3 American TikTok users support a ban of the influential and global app.

After the passage by the state of Montana banning entirely the app, this study shows the distrust continues to mount. If TikTok were to cease all operations in the U.S., exactly 35% plan on using proxies or VPNs to bypass in the event of a ban.

TikTok is insanely popular in the US. Let’s not forget that the app grow in popularity during the pandemic and lockdowns. Furthermore, the toxicity of politics plaguing Twitter and Facebook drew users towards TikTok that includes me, the author of this post. I have over 400,000 followers on there.
